During tonight's Monday Night Football matchup pitting the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts, wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was the intended target of an Andrew Luck pass that turned into a jump ball.
Though Giants' CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie initially had some control of the ball, Hilton was able to grab the ball away from him, thus turning an interception and touchback into a touchdown. In reality, Rodgers-Cromartie had it hit his facemask after bouncing through his hands into his pads, and thus the ball was not really secure, allowing Hilton to hang on after they both fell into the end zone. Credit T.Y. for the effort ont he play. DRC just didn't have a lucky bounce there.
