Toronto Raptors' Point Guard Kyle Lowry is a key free agent, as one of the top PG's on the open market, but it will be hard for the guard to go anywhere else, as the Raptors will pay top dollar for him, even if it means overpaying him.

The Houston Rockets' GM Daryl Morey flew to Philadelphia to meet with Lowry, but it's hard to imagine that the Rockets would actually land Lowry. They already have both Patrick Beverley and Jeremy Lin at the PG position, and it'd be hard to see them land another mouth to feed with James Harden the guy they're building around.
However, if Lowry does land in Houston, you can bet that Jeremy Lin will be able to contribute to another team, as clearly the mismanagement in Houston has simply wasted him as a big money FA acquisition. In order to get Lowry and maintain any hopes for Melo and other prizes in FA, Lin's contract will absolutely be gone, and he'll be able to contribute elsewhere. What about Los Angeles, alongside Kobe? Anything's possible in NBA Free Agency, starting today!
