The Chicago Bulls are reportedly interested in acquiring Ramon Sessions as a backup PG for Derrick Rose. Of course, it doesn't seem like the Bulls have the money to get anyone if they do get Melo, so this move is kind of puzzling in a sense, but makes sense for the team. Maybe they just want to enter the Melo market to bid his price up?
Of course, the Bulls wouldn't have needed to court Sessions had they not traded two picks for McDermott. Jordan Clarkson was available late in the second round, so the team could have easily jumped into the market then to nab him as a backup for both guard spots. As is, the Lakers got a fine draft in both him and Julius Randle.
